SCRANTON – A “colorful” race filled the streets in downtown Scranton.
Runners participated in a Color Me Rad 5k through the city Sunday.
Color Me Rad races like this one are popular nation-wide. As runners make their way along the route, they're showered with pink, blue, green, and yellow powdered paint. Many are completely covered in color by the end or the race.
"This is the first 5k where we’re gonna be smashed with different colors and trying to run, and breathe, and see all at the same time." Crystal Miller of Wilkes-Barre.
Money raised at the race will go towards the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania.
