DUNMORE -- Flames hit a vacant building early Sunday morning in Lackawanna County.
It started shortly after midnight inside the former Laurel Hill nursing home on Mill Street in Dunmore.
Firefighters said the fire was difficult to get at because it wasn't safe to go inside. To get access, crews decided to knock down the walls.
No one was hurt.
There is no word what caused the fire. Firefighters said there were no utilities connected.
