SHAMOKIN — A thief accused of stealing more than $450 from a mini mart in Northumberland County turned himself in Tuesday morning.
Police say Wade Thomas, 30, of Shamokin is facing theft charges after Sunday’s robbery of the Uni Mart on Sunbury Street in Shamokin.
The man told police he needed the money for heroin.
