PENN TOWNSHIP -- One man is dead following a crash in Lycoming County.
According to state police, James Artley, 75, of Muncy Valley lost control of his pickup truck on a curve and hit a tree along Beaver Lake Road near Hughesville just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. The truck then rolled down an embankment.
Troopers said Artley died at the scene.
Investigators said speed was not a factor.
