MOOSIC -- A crash closed a section of an interstate highway for about two hours in part of Lackawanna County.
It happened after noon Wednesday on Interstate 81 south between the Davis Street/Montage Mountain Road exit (182) and the Moosic exit (180).
The southbound lanes were closed at the Davis Street exit. The lanes were reopened around 2 p.m., according to PennDOT.
Emergency crews said two people were thrown from the car that crashed.
There is no word on injuries or the cause of the wreck.
