SCRANTON -- A judge in Lackawanna County ruled that three teenagers will be tried as adults in the homicide of a Scranton police officer.

Nasiir Jones, Tanner Curtis, and Isiah Edwards are charged with second degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and conspiracy.

Officer John Wilding was badly hurt while chasing the teens back in July after an alleged robbery. He died the next day.

The teens were 17 at the time. They are now all 18. A judge ruled Tuesday they will face trial as adults.

Prosecutors believe Officer Wilding died as a result of the alleged robbery--a felony.
