HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Senate passed a medical marijuana bill Tuesday with a vote of 42–7.
The amended bill (SB3) is now headed back to the State House for consideration.
The House approved the legislation on March 16.
This version voted on by the Senate contains minor changes to the one approved by the House.
There is no indication when the House might take action on the amended bill.
If it’s approved, the bill will head to Governor Wolf’s desk. The governor has said he will sign the bill into law.
