SELINSGROVE -- A 75-year-old woman was killed in Snyder County.
Police were called to a home on Ninth Street in Selinsgrove around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to investigators, someone called 911 after they went to the home and found the victim dead on the floor and her husband unconscious in a chair. The husband was taken to the hospital.
The Snyder County district attorney called the woman's death a homicide and added that there is no threat to the public.
Selinsgrove police are investigating with assistance from state police.
Police said they have a person of interest.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine how the victim died.
The name of the victim and her husband have not been released.
