EAST STROUDSBURG -- Crews are being credited with saving a dog's life after an apartment fire in Monroe County.
Flames broke out in a second-floor apartment on Washington Street in East Stroudsburg Thursday afternoon.
According to the fire chief, no one was home at the time, but firefighters found an unconscious dog inside. Crews were able to revive the dog by administering CPR.
Once the owners arrived, they took the dog to a vet to be checked out.
