PITTSTON -- Shawn Klush of Pittston has traveled the world performing as a tribute artist honoring the King of Rock and Roll.

Some even describe Klush as the greatest singer of Elvis songs since Elvis himself.

Now, that famous tall black hair, square jawline, and sideburns has helped Klush land the role of Elvis in HBO's new series, "Vinyl."

"It just proves that there's talent all over the place, not just in the areas that the people think. Hollywood and New York, it's all over the place," said Klush.

The show is about the music scene in the 1970s. Klush's role as the King is a dream job.

"They go back in time. You hear the Beatles and you hear that stuff and it's an all-around great show and I'm glad to be a part of it," Klush said.

Klush's face even appears on the new inspiration mural in Pittston.

"I think it's great for the area. I think it's great he can give Pittston some recognition," said Jan Needham of Elmhurst.

"He wanted to make it, so he's finally making it!" Gerald Morreale of Pittston said.

Klush's episode is called "The King and I." He doesn't recommend it for kids. It airs Sunday on HBO at 9 p.m.
