SOUTH CANAAN TOWNSHIP -- A set of twin brothers may only be in the 6th grade but they got a lesson in late night comedy Tuesday night.

You can tell the Cruz twins apart. Brennan has glasses, Liam does not. The 6th graders at Western Wayne Middle School were set apart from all the rest when Jimmy Kimmel Live featured them in a comedy bit about homework.

Kimmel and his sidekick Guillermo wanted to help the boys answer a homework question about ancient Egypt and proceeded to unscramble the letters with the boys' help.

"He changed it to bil es ok. No. They didn't tell us the answer," said the boys.

The answer was obelisk but the comedic gold was in the way the boys played along with Kimmel.

"They're both two comedians as well -- fit in quite nice with that show," said their teacher Todd Pauler.

Liam and Brennan recorded that segment with Jimmy Kimmel Live back in January and according to their mom, they forgot about it until an email came in three hours before the show.

"Mom came home from doing the groceries and told us. We had to stay up late to see it on TV," the boys said.

The boys' mother is proud her sons were picked after submitting their names to Kimmel's website. She's pretty sure they'll milk this claim to fame for all it's worth.

"It was cute, a good idea," said Katie Cruz.

But in the future, the boys might be better off getting homework help at home.
