SCRANTON -- About 500 kids showed up to Nay Aug Park in Scranton for a chance to find some candy-filled Easter eggs on Sunday.

The Greater Scranton Jaycees host the Easter Egg Scramble each year.

Organizers say the scramble is one of their most popular events.

"Yeah, as soon as we blow the whistle, the eggs are all gone within five to 10 minutes and the kids do a great job at picking them up. So they're definitely future candidates for the organization especially with park clean up. I think they do a really great job," said Frank Joyce, The Greater Scranton Jaycees.

The Easter Bunny was there as well to greet the kids.
