SCRANTON -- A big fight broke out at a party in Scranton following Saturday's St. Patrick's Parade and it was all caught on camera.
Scranton police are investigating the fight, which happened in the 400 block of Clay Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Cell phone video posted to Facebook shows how a couple of slaps quickly escalated into an all-out brawl involving dozens of people, both men and women.
More than 450,000 people have already viewed the video on Facebook.
David Miller lives on the street and saw the actual fight.
"I see some big dude just punch some dude on the ground. I see girls punching each other and then I see a guy, like two guys kicking one dude and then they just run away. I see them run away and then one dude was trying to go after them or something like that," Miller said.
However, others living in the hill section neighborhood say they weren't there on Parade Day, but found out about the fight by watching the video online.
"I saw the video online," said Connor Gould of Scranton. "It's crazy. Didn't know what to say about it."
"It was kind of an all-out street brawl and I feel like it was kind of bad on like the guy's part where he hit a girl, some of which is pretty messed up," Jack Wertz of Scranton said.
People we spoke with say they understand that it is a big party in the city on Parade Day, but this goes too far.
They say it's just lucky no one was badly hurt.
"It's just unnecessary really. I mean there's no need for that. People can have a good time, obviously there's a lot of drinking and stuff going on, but like I feel you should be able to know how to do that without having conflict like that. Be able to know your limits," Kevin Razska of Scranton said.
No charges have been filed at this time.
