GIBSON TOWNSHIP -- State police say they now know who was behind the wheel when a car plunged into a creek last month in Susquehanna County.
Investigators said the vehicle went off the road going around a curve on Barlow Road near Gibson shortly before 3 a.m. on February 21. It landed upside down in a creek.
Andrew Mazza, 23, of Greenfield Township was killed. Troopers said they were told the night of the crash that he was driving the car. But now, state police say the man who owns the vehicle, Johnathan Yacinovich, 20, of Waymart was driving. Witnesses say he was drinking before the deadly crash.
No charges have been filed at this time.
