The Mount Carmel Area girls basketball team came out on top in a thrilling 67-62 overtime win over Holy Cross in the AA Girls State Basketball Tournament. Nicole Varano scored 31 points in the win. She, and her coach and mother Lisa, attempted to put into words what the win meant.
