You might just call it a bit of Hollywood here at home. A fairly new piece of technology called "Vectra" is starting to create some buzz in the plastic surgery world in our area. "Vectra" is an "ultra high resolution 3-D surgical simulator. " Basically, it can show potential plastic surgery patients how their chosen procedure will appear when finished through a computer simulation.
Newswatch 16 got to check out the device with Dr. Christopher Sanders at Commonwealth Health Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center off N. River Street in the Wilkes-Barre area. Dr. Sanders says "Vectra" has "increased patient satisfaction rate because it allows them to see a realistic and reasonable expectation of their requested 'work' before going under the knife."
