KINGSTON — Crews were able to save an apartment building after a fire in Luzerne County.
It happened on West Union Street in Kingston around 7:30 Saturday night.
Officials tell Newswatch 16 the fire started in the basement of the apartment on the left which spread to the first floor.
The other two apartments have smoke damage.
Everyone got out okay.
According to the Red Cross, 11 people have to stay elsewhere.
A state police fire marshal will investigate a cause of the fire in Luzerne County.
