DUNMORE -- Sweet treats are a popular way to show your valentine you care. Dunmore Candy Kitchen made all kinds of treats for sweethearts.
Workers at the candy shop tell Newswatch 16 chocolate-covered strawberries and chocolate heart-shaped boxes have been flying off the shelves.
"The two days before Valentine's Day is a big mad rush of all guys that are buying strawberries and chocolate roses and getting assortments for their significant others," said Store Manage Connor Allen. "It's a great rush, though. It is high-energy and everyone's nice. No one is mad when you're buying chocolate. Everyone's pretty happy."
Workers say they still have some Valentine's Day candy left if you plan to make a last minute stop.
