MONTROSE -- A new health care center in Susquehanna County opened its doors Saturday morning.

NEPA Community Health Care dedicated it's third center in Montrose.

The Matthew W. Stahl Memorial Health Center opened up in the newly renovated Tannery Place on Main Street in the borough.

The facility is named after 8-year-old Matthew Stahl who passed away in 2012.

"It's great because not only are we bringing health care to the area, we are also bringing jobs and opportunities for training," said Mary Wetherall, CEO of NEPA Community Health Care.

The Matthew W. Stahl Memorial Health Care Center was paid for, in part, with a private grant.

NEPA Community Health Care runs two other centers in Susquehanna and Hallstead.
