WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- The ice at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza has a colorful new look for the weekend.

Arena staff painted the ice surface pink for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins’ “Pink in the Rink” Night on Saturday.

“Pink in the Rink” night is a joint effort between the Penguins and the American Cancer Society to raise breast cancer awareness. A portion of every ticket sold through a special “Pink in the Rink” offer for Saturday’s game will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

The Penguins take on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
