MOOSIC -- A fire in Lackawanna County chased a man out of a house.
A home on Greenwood Avenue in Moosic caught fire around midnight on Monday.
The Chief told Newswatch 16 one man was inside when the fire started in the basement, but made it out of the building safely.
A fire marshal is expected to look into what sparked the flames.
