FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP -- After a violent home invasion and arson in Lycoming County Thursday, the big question on the minds of many friends and neighbors is where is Michelle?

The Inch family home is boarded up. The state police fire marshal believes the fire that happened at the home near Montoursville is arson.

State police say Brian Vroman and Michael Houseweart are responsible. The two face a long list of charges including robbery and attempted homicide.

"Well, where is she?" asked Michelle's friend Tiffany Harris. "I contacted one of our mutual friends and she was like, 'I didn't even know she was missing.'"

State police say Houseweart had been staying with his girlfriend, 31-year-old Michelle Inch, for about a month at her parents' home on Sechler Drive.

According to authorities, Michelle wasn't there when Houseweart and his friend Vroman tied up her parents with duct tape, robbed them, and then set their house on fire.

"There is speculation because, I mean, they said they are looking for a third person. I'm like, she would never do anything like that, like there's something wrong there," said Harris.

State police are searching for Michelle. They say she was last seen Tuesday afternoon in Canton, Bradford County.

Harris used to work with Michelle in Montoursville. She's hopeful her friend with the contagious laugh will come home safe.

We reached out to family members to try to learn more about Michelle, but no one wanted to talk with us. Neighbors, however, told us they didn't know much about Michelle but had only nice things to say about her parents.

"I'm just a little disappointed in that side of that family for being so close, anyway, to do something to that family. They are so nice around this neighborhood," said Jason Houseweart of Montoursville.

Jason Houseweart's family lives up the street from the Inch family. He's also Michael Houseweart's second cousin.

"It's kind of embarrassing being a second cousin with the same last name," he said.

"I hope everything is OK with her. I really do," added Harris. "I hope nothing bad has happened to her."
