PLAINS TOWNSHIP -- The third person accused of swindling nearly a half million dollars from Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino turned himself in Thursday morning in Luzerne County.
Investigators say former vice president of player development at the casino Robert Pellegrini of Mountain Top is the ringleader of the group accused of theft. He is accused of making duplicate cards with player's information.
Two others believed to be involved in the scheme were arraigned on Wednesday.
Prosecutors say the scheme ended up cheating the casino out of more than $400,000.
Bail for Pellegrini was set at $500,000.
