MONTOURSVILLE -- The mother of a boy who accidentally shot himself in the leg in Lycomng County agreed to enter a rehab program and probation for putting her child in danger.
Amanda Fry was in court Friday. Her two year old found a loaded gun in their home in Montoursville last April. It belonged to her boyfriend.
Authorities say Fry and her boyfriend were upstairs taking a shower when the toddler was left alone.
If Fry successfully completes the two-year rehab program, the charges could be dropped.
The case against the mother's boyfriend, Cody Asher, is still going through Lycoming County Court.
