House Fire in Scranton

SCRANTON -- Officials are investigating what caused a fire in Scranton early Sunday morning.

The fire broke out at a home on Monroe Avenue around 1:30 a.m.

Firefighters rescued a woman and her pet from the roof of the front porch.

She was taken to the hospital.

There is no word on her condition after the fire.
