LIBERTY TOWNSHIP — The Montour County coroner is investigating the death of a man who was killed on the job.
Authorities said Allen Zimmerman, 25, from the Mifflinburg area was working to excavate shale in the area of Mooresburg Road near Danville Wednesday when somehow the equipment slipped and rolled to the bottom of an embankment.
Zimmerman was killed.
State police and the coroner’s office are investigating the incident.
