SCRANTON — A panel of judges in Lackawanna County selected the county’s new district attorney Monday.
Deputy District Attorney Shane Scanlon will become the interim replacement for Andy Jarbola.
Jarbola gave up the district attorney’s job to become a county judge.
Scanlon is expected to run for the full-time job in next year’s election.
