‘Apparent Love Triangle’ Leads to Attempted Homicide Charge

MIDDLEBURG — State police in Snyder County tell us an “apparent love triangle” led to a man facing attempted homicide charges.

According to troopers, Tyler Hockenberry, 23, of Middleburg, left his 4-year-old child alone Sunday while he used a knife to threaten a man he believed was in a relationship with his ex-girlfriend.

Hockenberry is also accused of lighting a garbage can on fire, damaging the victim’s home.

Hockenberry is locked up in Snyder County.
