BUTLER TOWNSHIP -- The cause of early morning flames at a home in Schuylkill County is still unknown.
It sparked at this place near Ashland around midnight.
Neighbors say a woman and her four children lived there.
They made it out okay, but lost just about everything they owned.
Waverly Snider a neighbor said, “For the kids, it must be devastating to have Santa come, and then have a fire take everything. It must be so hard."
Neighbors say the mother was burned when she went back inside to try to save the family's dog.
There is no word on her condition after the fire in Schuylkill County.
