PLYMOUTH -- A garbage truck took down the porch roof of an apartment house in Plymouth.
The incident happened around 10 a.m. Monday as the truck came down Wagner Lane in the borough. The truck swiped the porch of the apartment house. The driver stopped, but there was no way to free the truck without taking down the porch roof.
No one who lives in the apartment house was there at the time.
Police say the driver works for a company contracted by the borough. He is expected to be cited for the crash in Luzerne County.
