MILTON — A fire chased six people from their home Sunday afternoon in Northumberland County.
Officials tell us the flames sparked at a double home on Upper Market Street in Milton shortly before 1 p.m.
The Red Cross is assisting the two families who lived there.
No one was hurt, but some of their pets did not survive.
Officials believe the fire started on the right side of the home.
A fire marshal is expected to determine a cause of the fire here in Northumberland County.
