MOOSIC -- A housekeeping worker is locked up on charges she stole jewelry from guests at a hotel in Lackawanna County.
Anna Tierney, 45, of Scranton, is accused of taking $20,000 worth of jewelry from a guest room at Springhill Suites in Moosic.
The thefts happened in the fall of 2013 when she worked there as a cleaning person.
Investigators said Tierney sold the jewelry at four jewelry stores in the area.
She is locked up with bail set at $10,000.
