There are certain expectations if you wrestle at Wyoming Seminary.

"Number one," Aaron Kliamovich of Dallas said. "Always gotta be on top. Always gotta win and win big."

"I think going to [Wyoming Seminary] and putting on a [Wyoming Seminary] uniform puts pressure on you because you are held to a higher standard because that's just how it works here," Nick Reenan said.

"The reason I think it's got kind of that aura around it, you know, I think of it more like a fighting spirit is because all that fire and passion we have," Mason Manville added.

A passion to keep that tradition alive. In his sixth season as head coach, Scott Green sees that passion every day.

"There isn't a high school athlete in the country that works harder than a Wyoming Seminary wrestler," Green said. "I don't think there's any question about that."

But this may be his best team yet. Eight of his wrestlers are committed to Division I schools. Six of them are nationally ranked. Nick Reenan and Mason Manville rank number one in the country by Intermat.com. But it doesn't exactly mean much to them.

"I'm still in hunting mode," Manville said. "I just want to win titles. I just want to, you know, improve and get better every day. So I don't really care that I'm number one. I'm just trying to hunt and get better."

"I want to win every time I'm in no matter what," Reenan added. "So I still have to win tournaments. It doesn't really affect how anyone else comes at me except for that now I have a target on my back."

They have a chance to put all that talent to the test right away. They have the Ironman Invitational in Akron, OH this weekend. Some of the best wrestlers in the country will be there and they think this year, they can take it.

"That's a tournament that could go, you wrestle it ten time, it could go ten different ways," Green said. "All the teams that we want to compete against are there and the best individuals in the country are there. We've never won it. So obviously it's on our mind. That's something we're aiming to do this year."

To prove to everyone else what they already know at Wyoming Seminary.

"It's an amazing program," Kliamovich said. "You can't beat it. Six guys that are nationally ranked. I mean, it's a powerhouse team."

"It's a breeding ground for great wrestlers," Manville said. "I think this is the pinnacle of high school wrestling."
