STROUD TOWNSHIP -- Eryk Shares The Power Of Christmas was another success this year at the middle school near Stroudsburg.
Eryk D'meza, 14, is confined to a wheelchair with spinal muscular atrophy. He started the event to give hundreds of other kids with disabilities a holiday party.
The money raised will help Eryk reach his end goal of building an activity center for children with disabilities.
Eryk's mother Erika D'meza said, "It's a potential building worth $30,000. That is our goal to raise that to buy the building. We have three construction companies willing to help us contract the inside of the building."
The holiday party was complete with raffles, gifts, and more.
