WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- An open skate night was held Thursday at Mohegan Sun Arena all to help kids in need this holiday season.
Anyone who brought a new toy or made a $5 donation to Toys For Tots could to lace up and skate on the ice during the 12th annual Toys For Tots Open Skate.
The event was presented by Utz and supports the United States Marine Corps Toys For Tots program.
The Toys For Tots Open Skate is the only day throughout the year, Mohegan Sun Arena opens its doors for public skating.
