SELINSGROVE -- A holiday tradition in Snyder County is the annual Late Shoppers' Night that kicks off the Christmas shopping season in Selinsgrove.
Newswatch 16 found shoppers and holiday cheer throughout the downtown Tuesday evening.
Stores and restaurants were open late and everybody is treated to music and refreshments.
Shoppers say the event gives them the chance to check out what local businesses have to offer.
"We're from the area, so we don't have the opportunity to come downtown now we're in stores that we've never been in before, so it's nice," said Dawn Yoder of Selinsgrove.
There was supposed to be live entertainment for shoppers, but rain canceled most of the night's performances.
