MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP — Police have recovered 14 guns they say were stolen from a home in Monroe County.
Officers said someone broke into the home on Williams Drive in Middle Smithfield Township sometime Thursday afternoon and took rifles and shotguns from two gun cabinets.
Police found the guns in a field behind a store in Stroud Township, after someone reported seeing a suspicious looking bag on their way into work.
Investigators identified a suspect but charges have not been filed at this time.
