BLOOMSBURG -- Columbia County jurors spent most of the day deciding if a woman killed her husband.
After hours of deliberating, the jury has not reached a verdict in the homicide trail against Maria Sanutti-Spencer.
Sanutti-Spencer is accused in the shooting death of her ex-husband in 2012.
Maria Sanutti-Spencer of Selinsgrove faces more than two dozen charges including criminal homicide and arson.
Back in July of 2012, prosecutors say, Sanutti-Spencer killed her ex-husband Frank Spencer at his home near Millville.
Sanutti-Spencer's father, Anthony Franklin was also charged not only for Spencer's death, but also for harassment, and burning down a previous home of Spencer's before his death.
Franklin fled to Argentina several years ago, where he was eventually detained by authorities. He is currently fighting extradition.
The defense says Sanutti-Spencer is not responsible for the death of Frank Spencer, but prosecutors from the state attorney general's office say the evidence is overwhelming.
Deliberations are scheduled to continue Friday morning.
