BLOOMSBURG -- Veterans in central Pennsylvania didn't have to pay for their dinners Wednesday as a thank you for their service.
We found a crowd at the 12th annual Veterans Day Dinner in the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital cafeteria.
Organizers estimate 400 people or more ate dinner at the hospital.
The vets say they appreciate all of it.
"It's heartfelt and words of gratitude sometimes you just can't express it that to see veterans like this all gathered in the same room, it's really nice," said Mark Altieri of Bloomsburg.
Veterans were encouraged to bring a guest with them for the free Veterans Day meal.
