TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP -- A truck fire had part of a highway shut down in Monroe County.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. Monday in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near mile marker291. That's between the I-380 exit and the Blakeslee exit. Westbound lanes were closed in the area of the fire.
The burned rig was cleared from the area by 2 p.m., according to PennDOT.
There is no word on injuries or the cause of the truck fire.
