SCRANTON -- A wreck on Interstate 81 south in Scranton had traffic backed up for a time Monday evening.
State police said a 92-year-old man was stopped on the highway near the River Street exit because he was looking for signs for the interstate. He was then hit by a pickup truck.
Both drivers are expected to be OK.
Troopers said Interstate 81 south was closed for about a half hour due to the crash and traffic was backed up for miles.
Investigators said the driver will be cited for stopping on the highway.
