WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP -- A guilty plea was entered Wednesday in a case of animal abandonment in Snyder County.
Linda Carson of Juniata County admitted leaving nine beagle puppies and dogs in Snyder County over the course of two years.
All had very long nails and a skin condition one veterinarian says was caused by bad breeding.
A judge will determine her payment for the summary offenses later this month.
Some neighbors are calling for harsher sentences in animal cruelty cases.
