MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP -- There was some moving and grooving in Northumberland County Saturday and it was all to raise money for pediatric cancer research.
Hundreds turned out for the third annual "Think Big Dance Marathon" at the Mount Carmel Junior/Senior High School.
The event raises money for the Janet Weis Children's Hospital.
"I do this cause I have a lot of people who I lost to cancer. When I was in 6th grade, we lost someone in our class," said Victoria Chapman of Mount Carmel. "So a lot of people come out for that reason."
The "Think Big Dance Marathon" continues until 9 p.m. Saturday night.
Organizers hope to raise $20,000 at the event near Mount Carmel.
