KULPMONT — The president of King Coal Tours in Northumberland County has been charged with fraud in connection with a government-funded public transportation program.
Robert Else, 65, of Elysburg is accused of submitting false annual budgets and monthly invoices for expenses to both the state and federal transportation departments in order to get reimbursed money.
The feds believe the alleged fraud, which occurred from 2006 to 2012, could total up to $400,000.
His charter bus company is based in Kulpmont.
