KIDDER TOWNSHIP -- Volunteers were out Monday in Carbon County, looking for an elderly woman who has been reported missing.
Elena Raspopova, 84, from Maryland walked away from a home along Red Fox Court near Lake Harmony on Saturday and hasn't been seen since.
"The evenings have been very cold, so we're concerned about that and we want to do everything we can to try and bring this search to a successful conclusion," said Mark Nalesnik, Carbon County EMA director.
Authorities are also concerned because the woman doesn't speak English and isn't familiar with the area.
