Bark for Life of Wyoming Valley

Bark for Life of Wyoming Valley is held at Kirby Park.  The American Cancer Society honors contributions of canine caregivers helping with cures.  Bring your canine best friend to Kirby Park on Saturday, October 24 starting at 10 a.m. to enjoy music, food, dog demonstrations, and basket raffles.  Dress you dog to impress for the costume contest.  To pre-register call the American Cancer Society at 570-562-9749 or email Sara Klinges at saracklinges@gmail.com.  To register before the event, it’s $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog.  The day of the event it’s $15 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog.

Fall Fun Festival

Fall Fun Festival is celebrated in Pike County.  It’s at Long Meadow Chapel on Long Meadow Road in Milford on Saturday, October 24 starting at noon.  It’s great family fun with kiddy hay rides, a pumpkin patch, a bounce house, face painting, prizes and goody bags.  There’s fresh cider, hot dogs, cotton candy and hot cocoa.

Collectibles – Antiques Market

A Collectibles & Antique Market is held in Monroe County.  Mountainhome United Methodist Church sponsors the event at the church at the junction of Routes 191 & 390 on Saturday, October 24 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Items for sale are useful tools, collectible items and antiques.  Food will be available for breakfast, lunch and desserts.
