HAMILTON TOWNSHIP -- Part of Route 33 in Monroe County was closed for a few hours Tuesday while crews removed a stuck truck.
The tractor trailer hauling an oversize load got stuck in a construction area in the north bound lanes near Saylorsburg.
State police said the permit for the truck did not allow it to be on that route. The driver was issued a citation and the permit was revoked.
Traffic on Route 33 was detoured for more than two hours.
