HARFORD TOWNSHIP -- Equipment was destroyed when a garage burned in Susquehanna County.
The garage at Payne Excavating near Harford went up around 11:30 P.M. on Tuesday.
The owner's son said there was a small fire that started in a truck inside the garage Monday morning.
That fire rekindled on Tuesday, causing the roof of the building to collapse.
It's hard for the family to watch the business located on their farm damaged by flames.
"We worked our whole life here on the farm running machinery to get what we have," said Frank Payne, the owner's son. "Spent countless days out in the freezing rain now you get it, it's absolutely terrible to see it all go. "
Payne told Newswatch 16 several pieces of machinery were destroyed in the fire but they do plan to rebuild.
