The story for this Loyalsock tennis star begins in 2012 that's when Pam Niditch won here first District championship as a freshman by defeating her older sister Emily.

"Her sister won district doubles as a sophomore and then her junior year she was a singles champion and that's when she told me that she has a sister that is beating me sometimes and she is in 7th grade then," said Rick Zimmerman.

"I played a lot. I mean like my sister playing definitely has contributed to that because I played with her since I was little, so playing over the summer and just practicing a lot has led to my success," said Pam Niditch.

With three district titles in her pocket Pam is looking to become the first girl from District IV to four-peat and her career mark versus District IV competition a perfect 78-0.

"I'm just going into it with no pressure and looking forward to doing it again my 4th year," again said Pam.

"I think every coach dreams about maybe just having that one player sometime in their career that just goes out and wins every match and you know that they are going to get you a point. I've been lucky enough to have her. We've had a lot of good players through the years at Loyalsock, but none as dominate as her," again said Rick.

Pam is more of a baseline player running this baseline to a perfection over the last four years and she gets that endurance by swimming in the off-season for the Williamsport Area High School swim team.

"Swimming is very intense, and that helps with my endurance. I mean we will have two and a half hour practices and I see that because I swim so much it definitely helps with my tennis," added Pam.

The state tournament has not been kind only one career trip into the quarterfinals and with 14 underclassmen returning with state experience Pam's path to medal will be met with some challenges.
