NORTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP -- The calendar may still say summer but everything else is crying fall at Roba Family Farms near Waverly.

Getting all their ducks in a row to start the season takes teamwork. Farm hands spend weeks doing everything from filling up the feed cups to finding picture-perfect pumpkins.

This is the first time Roba's has started the season on a weekday, and so far so good.

"I am very excited," said owner Sue Roba. "We have been working very hard here, the whole team, getting everything ready, and the weather is great, so we are off to a great fall start."

Along with offering nature's bounty, this farm also has a little razzle dazzle.

It's not just apples and pumpkins; there is also entertainment. The Marvelous Mutts put on a show and normally Kara and her friend Mucho use a Frisbee for their tricks, but in honor of the Roba's apples they have come up with a brand new stunt: apple Frisbee.

The first visitors of the season were a family from Clarks Summit.

"As the world and society has changed, we can still enjoy some good wholesome family fun at a place like this," said Mark Molnar.

Roba Family Farm's fall season ends October 31, Halloween.
